After pick up from your Hotel around 8:00 AM, you will start paddling from West Lombok farmer’s monument in Mendagi Village to Pengsong Temple. Passing fields along the route, and you will get a warm greeting from kids and villagers says “Hallo Miss… Hello, Mister” to you.
A Superb Cycling Trip Through Lombok Historical Bridge, Visit Lombok Hand Weaving Village, and Crossing The River by Bamboo Raft
On the way you will pass several villages. Enjoy slowly riding and moving through Dasan Geres Village, passing the West Lombok Head District Offices through the rice fields along the ride until Tempos Village. Keep your eye seeing around to see Eagle and some other kind of birds that frequently fly and perch around the area. We will make stopping to shot the birds with your camera. You can also stop at the rice field and get to meet local farmers who working their field in a traditional way. Then, head to cross the Dutch historical Bridge in Penarukan onto Kebon Ayu village. Here, you will be amazed in cultural experience, breathtaking scenery, enhanced by the warm hospitality of the local people that make you feel welcome. Walk inside the village to see the traditional Lombok hand weaving.
After walking around the village, move your paddle to Ketejer Village and Suka Makmur Village passing the cow farm, rice field, and green hill. Enjoy the wind blow your hair and fresh air on your face. Then discover amazing Lombok straits and stunning city scenery from the peak of Mount Pengsong. Before end up our cycling tour at Pengsong Temple, we will crossing the river at Kebon Kongok by traditional bamboo raft to reach Pengsong Temple that sits at the top of the mount Pengsong.
Park your bike and start walking up hill on stairs to visit and observe the temple with amazing Lombok straits and stunning city scenery from the top of the mount Pengsong. End of the tour, from here the driver will drive you back to your hotel.
