Welcome to your West Sumatra 3 Day Itinerary
Our three days tour from Padang transports you through the majestic landmarks, stunning sceneries, to the historical sites. Upon arrival at Minangkabau International Airport, you will pick up by our driver and guide then start your first day of tour with city tour in Padang. Short visit to see Siti Nurbaya Bridge, Padang’s Chinatown, Padang Beach, Lora Monument, and Grand Mosque of West Sumatra. Then, you will try the most famous durian ice cream in Padang.
Leaving Padang and head east to the Solok, for visiting The Twin Lakes. The trip taking us through the breathtaking Panorama II Sitinjau Laut and snap a photo at Taman Hutan Raya Bung Hatta. Arrive in Twin Lake, you will experience dramatic views of Danau Atas and Danau Bawah.
Continue to Sawahlunto for experience Sumatra’s Little Dutch. Firstly, we will visit the famous Mbah Suro Mine Tunnel. Next, we will stop at Goedang Rangsum. It used to be a kitchen to cook food for labourer. Near Goedang Rangsum, there is a train museum showcases the history of trains in West Sumatra and sketches the transformation of Sawahlunto. Next, enjoy a beautiful scenery of the city from the height of Pine Hill (Puncak Cemara). Enjoy your time in this Little Dutch city and snap some photos.

The Hill of Puncak Cemara offers superlative views of the city
Heading north, from your panoramic window seat you’ll see greenery lush and villages before stop at the famous Pagaruyung Palace. The original Pagaruyung Palace was burnt to the ground during a bloody riot in 1804. After that, it was reconstructed and burned again several times until 2007. Now, this palace is only the replica constructed to the south from the original one.
Enjoy perfect view of Harau valley which bordering on a ravine and flanked by two hills between two nature reserves, the beautiful constraction of Kelok 9, and Tebek Patah Village.
On the last day of the tour, after breakfast and check-out, spend your time with short city tour before your flight’s departure time. Enjoy a nature valley overlooks the deep Sianok Canyon with a lot of greeneries at Taman Panorama. Then, visit Japanese Tunnel, and short stop at the famous Jam Gadang (Minangkabau’s Big Clock).
If you have late afternoon flight, you could have a short visit to Puncak Lawang -a peak plateau in Agam District (optional); Maninjau Lake, and Anai Valley for photo stop in front of the waterfall.
