There are about 600 monkeys who occupy this forest and according to local beliefs, they are known as guardians of the temple and also the guards against evil spirits. When you visit Ubud Monkey Forest, you should keep your belongings, because the monkeys there is the wild monkey.
For those of you who want to interact with these monkeys, you can give them some foods. There are also many vegetables and fruits sellers near the monkey forest, so you can buy some bananas first.
