Visit and see how is the ethnic tribes of Baduy and live close to them. The Baduy consists of Baduy Dalam (Inner Baduy) and Baduy Luar (Outer Baduy) which attract tourists who want to witness its natural beauty and the daily activities of its tribe. Inner Baduy people have made very few contacts from the outside. They follow the rigid taboo system strictly. Besides, Baduy Luar people are more willing to accept modern influence into their daily life such as technology and electronic devices as well as modern clothing. Most of them are farmers, besides they also make handicrafts of woven products.

Stay overnight at Baduy House in Inner Baduy. You need to follow the rules for not using electronics and transportation wherever you go. This open trip includes train tickets from and to Tanah Abang Station, non-AC vehicle service, English speaking guide, homestay in Inner or Outer Baduy, and Meals (3x). You will depart from Tanah Abang Station to go to Rangkasbitung train station. Then, meet our representative who will guide you to Ciboleger village. Start your trekking after lunch to reach Gazebo village in Baduy Luar, passing traditional bridge from bamboo material and short photo stop here.
The last stop is the Inner Baduy. This village attracts tourists by their strict traditional rules, reconstruction of the traditional house building. The houses use local sources and natural materials such as rumbia roof and bamboo’s wall. They usually wear their traditional white or black clothes without any footwear.
One of the rules says that do not change something or anything or do not accept what is available without increasing or reducing what is available. This also includes not to accept modern goods specially made in factories. Baduy Dalam struggle with it and Baduy Luar is between on the one hand trying to preserve the customs of their ancestors, but on the other hand, trying to follow the development of modernity.
The Baduy are happy to be visited by tourists since going outside by foot would take time and consume energy.
