From Punggur Harbour, Batam to Sri Bintan Pura Port, Bintan Island, the journey time is around 20 minutes by speedboat. When you arrive, you will be picked up by driver and friendly tour guide, then move to Blue Lake Desert. This coastline surrounded by crystal blue lake and rich with white sand dunes. Discover this area and take photos with lake and desert background. Continue to explore Lagoi Bay Beach. After that, indulge in a scrumptious Indonesia lunch in the signature food stalls of Bintan, and taste ayam penyet (smashed fried chicken) or nasi padang. Afterwards, you will visit Treasure Bay. Feel the thrill of exciting water slides that sliding down 7.5m before plunging into the welcoming crystal blue water in the Slip and Slide.
The next day, visit Vihara Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva (also called 500 Lohan Temple or Thousand Face Tample) to see various facial expressions and gestures carved on the statues in the temple. This place is picture-perfect and culturally rich attraction. This majestic Buddhist site has some 500 life-size Lohan statues that lined up with different faces and expressions.
