Story Telling
Lombok Village Cultural and Beaches Tour
Immerse into the daily local life. The guide will pick you up at 9 AM, then get ready to visit traditional craft villages surrounding Lombok in Banyumulek Village, Sukakara Village, and Sade Village. You will finish off with short visit to Kuta Beach and Tanjung Aan Beach.
Visiting Banyumulek village can give visitors a unique experience on Lombok pottery. The most amazing activity that visitors must try is to create pottery items themselves as souvenirs for family and friends. Of course, not every “amateur maker” can make good pottery at their first time, so go buying already-made pottery items as souvenirs could be an ideal option.
The Sukarara Village is the place where you can see the process of making songket cloth. Songket cloth is a kind of traditional woven fabric from Indonesia. The patterns of songket have a classification in its own traditional term.
Encourage to walk in the Sasak Sade Village where you can see many traditional houses built in traditional Sasak style. The houses are made from wooden pillars, woven-bamboo walls and thatched roofs crafted from alang-alang grass.
Before back to your hotel, you will be brought to visit Kuta Beach and Tanjung Aan Beach. Those beaches have translucent turquoise water and gently breaking in the shallows.
