Mara River Safari Lodge is rustic which is a part of Bali Safari & Marine Park. There are a lot things to do around this property, Bali Safari & Marine Park, and its surrounding areas.
1. Get Unique and Fun Safari Experiences
Mara River Safari Lodge offers in-park packages comprising of Night Safari and Elephant Back Safari. As the names suggest, you will explore the Safari Park at night with Night Safari, while in Elephant Back Safari, you will go on safari atop the huge animal. Besides both kinds of safari, you will get free access to enter the area of Bali Safari & Marine Park. This includes chances to enjoy cultural, educational, and animal shows performed in the area.
2. Visit Cucukan Beach
Bali Safari & Marine Park is near the east coastline of Bali. One of the nearest beaches is Cucukan Beach. Other than the black sand and the sea, you can admire the beauty of local life of the village. Cucukan Beach is also a nice place to fish or surf.
3. Have Fun in Keramas Park
About 7 km away, settled Keramas Park. It can be a nice alternative if you want a little more adventure outside Bali Safari & Marine Park. Keramas Park offers a team-building activity and child planting activity as well as more dynamic activities like cycling around, riding ATV, or playing airsoft gun. If you like calmer activity, you can also do yoga or meditation in this park.
4. Cool Down Yourself in Tegenungan Waterfall
Besides tropical beaches, waterfall is another interesting place to visit. Tegenungan Waterfall is a famous one. You will need about 30-minute drive to reach this tourist attraction. Here, you can pamper your eyes with the stunning view of the 15-meter high waterfall and the surrounding nature. The water are clear, cool, and not too deep, so you can dip yourself in it and cool your body down in the fresh water.
5. Find the Hidden Canyon of Beji Guwang
By a 25-minute drive from Bali Safari & Marine Park area, you will find a hidden paradise. Hidden Canyon of Beji Guwang is a tranquil little hideout that is not so easy to find. It consists of pools, small waterfalls, and carved rocks. If you are tired of crowded hot-spots of Bali tourism, you can drag yourself into this place and make a little escape here.
