Set at the heart of the energetic Oberoi, there are much to see and do if you are staying in Villa Uma Sapna Seminyak. Here are just a few of the recommended activities to do nearby:
1. Petitenget Beach
Petitenget Beach is one of the best beaches in Seminyak. This wonderful beach has a perfect surf break that becomes a magnet for surfers all over the world. Of course, there are many things to do in this beach other than challenging the waves on a surfboard. Petitenget Beach has a vast sand area that is perfect for leisure activities. You can stroll along the coastline, sit back and relax while getting yourself a tan, or play with your loved ones or with other beach-goers.
2. Ku De Ta
Still located near Petitenget Beach (just right behind it, to be precise), there is Ku De Ta. Being one of the pioneers of the beach club and bar in Seminyak, Ku De Ta is still seen as a prominent hotspot to enjoy the nightlife in this area. You can visit this establishment to enjoy a fine dining experience set in an open space, with diverse backsound and stunning view of the Indian Ocean. Besides Ku De Ta, newer beach clubs like Potato Head or Cocoon are also worth a visit.
3. Eat Street Seminyak
You won’t get hungry or run out of meal option if you stay in Seminyak. There are abundant choices of restaurants, lounges, and bars situated within Seminyak area. Jalan Laksamana (a.k.a Jalan Kayu Aya or Jalan Oberoi) is seen as Bali’s Eat Street since there are huge amount of restaurants established there. If you are into high-end facilities, Sarong and Teatro Gastroteque are perfect examples. In addition, Seminyak is also full of unique places to hang out, such as the rustic beach bar La Plancha.
4. Seminyak Square
Seminyak isn’t famous among surfers and sun-worshipers only. Shopaholics also come in droves. This fashionable beach area of South Bali is home to numerous chic places to shop, with a range of luxury boutiques and jewelry shops. You can go on a spree and grab lots of designer-wares and fashion items to your heart’s content. Don’t miss the chance to get some Balinese ethnic knick knacks which become Bali’s specialty.
5. Visit Canggu and Kuta
If you are ready for a nice drive, you can have a day trip to some other tourist attractions located just a few miles away from Villa Lilibel. Canggu and Kuta areas are located less than 10 km away. Or, you can also drive to some farther places such as Umalas Equestrian Centre, Finns Recreation Club, Waterbom Bali, Tanah Lot Temple, Bali Bird Park, Bali Safari & Marine Park, or many others.
