We will pick you up at your accommodation at 08.00 in the morning with a comfortable car then head to Kaliadem. Once you arrive at Kaliadem, prepare yourself to go for a wild ride. Learn about Mount Merapi eruption from your guide. Along the journey, you can see remnants of charred buildings that were abandoned by their occupants. Visit Kaliadem bunker that used to shield from the eruption and mini-museum called “Sisa Hartaku Museum” means “the rest of my treasure”. The museum houses many objects damaged by the Merapi eruption including the melted clock that shows the exact time of Merapi eruption in 2010. After all these super fun experience we will return to your accommodation.

Learn about the eruption of Merapi Volcano through the collection in Sisa Hartaku Museum. Established by a local resident in 2011 this museum has many remnants of Merapi eruption such as melted motorcycle, television and so on.
Stop at Bunker Kaliadem a shelter to hide from volcanic ash during the eruption. Here, 2 volunteer rescuers died because of the high temperature during the eruption in 2006. Unfortunately, this shelter isn’t built to stand the hot cloud.
